Card Games

Across the Bridge

To play this game the provided deck of cards and at least 2 people are needed. To begin, the dealer must lay down ten cards in a row faced down. This row of cards is the bridge. The object of this game is to get across the bridge. To accomplish this, players flip one card at a time. If a player gets a numbered card, they are clear and it is the next persons turn to flip over the next card. If a face card is flipped, the player must drink based on the following criteria:

Jack=Drink 1

Queen=Drink 2

King=Drink 3

Ace=Drink 4

If a face card is flipped, more cards must be laid down according to what card is flipped. (ie: Place 1 card down for a Jack, 2 for a Queen, and so on). Once all of the cards are flipped over, the game ends.

Asshole

3 or more players and the provided deck of cards will be needed to play this game. The object of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards. The dealer deals the entire deck out evenly between all players. To start the game you begin with the 5 of clubs. The player following the 5 of clubs must lay down a card of equal or greater value. They must also use the same amount of cards as the player did. If not possible, the player’s turn gets skipped. Once the play is no longer playable the last player to have gone clears the table and begins with their card of choice.

During the game players can use 2′s to clear the table (only one 2 is needed to clear even if doubles are being played), 3′s as wild cards, and 4′s to reverse the direction of play. If the player lays down the same card as the previous player the next person is skipped and has to drink. If the next player also throws down the same card the following two players have to drink.

If 3 of the same number card has been played in a row the player holding the 4th card can jump out of turn and throw it down as long as they play it before the next person takes their turn. This results in the cards being cleared and a social drink (all players drink). The game continues with the player who played the 4th card by picking any card to play.

Black Jack – Wild Style

At least 2 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. Deal the cards out like blackjack. Each player will play their hand using the same rules as blackjack. Each time a player busts, they must take 2 drinks. When the dealer busts, the dealer must take 2 drinks.

If the dealer gets a blackjack, everybody at the table drinks three. When a player gets a blackjack, only the dealer has to drink ten.

If a player doubles down/splits, they are betting four drinks. If the player wins, the dealer must drink accordingly. If the player loses they must drink accordingly.

If the dealer gets blackjack with either card as a spade, there is a community waterfall where nobody can stop drinking until the dealer does.

Bonzi

At least 3 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. To begin, place the cards in a circle so that the middle is open. Pick a player to go first. The player should draw one card and place it in the middle of the circle. Based which card is drawn, take the appropriate action per the criteria listed below. Move clockwise around the table to the next player. Each player will draw one card and repeat the instructions above.

Ace: “Waterfall”- the person who drew the card starts drinking. The person next to them starts and so on and so on. When the 1st person stops the next person can stop and so on.

2: “Rule” – The player who draws this card can make a rule. When someone breaks the rule they must drink. (ie: Thumb rule, Viking rule, etc.)

3: “Social”- Everybody drinks

4: “Rhyme Time” – The player who draws this card can pick a word. Everyone goes around the table clockwise and has to rhythm with that word. Whoever can’t within 5 seconds has to drink.

5: “Categories”- The player who draws this card picks a category (ie: ‘Beer’: Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Light, Corona, etc). Everyone goes around the table clockwise and whoever cannot think of something within the category within 5 seconds drinks.

6: “Never Have I Ever”- The player who draws this card must make a “never have I ever” statement. For example, the player could say, “Never Have I Ever shoplifted”. The object is to say something that you think others may have done but you have not done. Anyone who has ever done your “never have I ever” statement, must drink.

7: “President” – The player that draws this card is the President. This player can make anyone in the game drink at any time. This player will remain the President until someone else draws a 7 and takes over the office of Bonzi President.

8: “To the left”- The player to the left of the person who draws this card drinks.

9: “To the Right”- The player to the left of the person who draws this card drinks.

10: “Bonzi”- Whoever is the last to say “Bonzi” when this card is drawn has to drink.

Jack: “Jackoff”- Whoever is the last to say “Jackoff” when this card is drawn has to drink.

Queen: “Salute the Queen” – Whoever is the last to say “Salute the Queen” when this card is drawn has to drink.

King: “F*ck the King” – Whoever is the last to say “F*ck the King” when this card is drawn has to drink.

Bottle Tornado

At least 2 players, the provided deck of cards, and an empty beer bottle are needed to play this game. Place the deck of cards on top of the bottle. Each player will blow cards off the deck on the bottle in turn. The player to blow the last card off the bottle has to down a beer.

If anyone spots an Ace among the cards that a player blows off the bottle, the player that blew the Ace off will have to drink once. If someone blows down a bunch of cards and two aces are visible that person has to drink twice.

Bread

At least 3 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. First a dealer must be selected. The dealer must shuffle the deck of cards and keep them in hand, face down. The dealer will select a player around the table to go first. The player must guess what color the top card in the deck is (red or black).

If the player’s first guess is wrong, the player must drink, and it is the next persons turn to guess the color of the next card.

If the players guess is correct, that player keeps going until they are wrong. The number of correct guesses is the number of drinks that player gets to give out to the other players. The player can assign all of the drinks to one person or split them up among any of the other players

Two kill cards exist and end any run of correct guesses a player might be on:

Ace of Hearts – “Share the Love” The player that draws this card nominates someone to finish their drink.

Ace of Spades-“Down One” The player that draws this card has to finish their drink and it becomes the next players turn.

Bullshit

3-8 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. All players sit around a table and the dealer deals out the entire deck to all players, including his or herself. The point of the game is to get rid of all cards that a player is dealt. Starting with aces, the first player lays down the number of aces they have, stating the number of cards. The person next to them, then goes on accordingly and lays down the number of kings and states the number of cards. Play continues on according through queens, down to 2 and then repeats back to aces. If a player wants to win they will have to be a good bluffer. If a player does not have a card they can lie and pretend they do. This will help players go through their cards first to win the game.

If a player thinks that another player is lying, they say “Bullshit!” If that person is right, the player that lied must drink an amount proportional to the number of cards in the stack and add all of the cards that were in the stack to their hand. However, if the accused player is actually honest when someone calls “Bullshit!”, the accuser must drink the amount and pick-up the cards to add to their own hand.

Just to recap, the play starts with aces, then goes on accordingly, through kings, then repeats back to aces.

If a player is caught bullshitting or falsely accusing someone of bullshitting they must drink the amount proportional to the number of cards in the stack and add those cards to their own hand.

Play continues until someone runs out of cards and wins the game. If several rounds of play commence, the winner of any previous round can make a rule.

Captain Jackass

At least 3 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. To begin, take the cards and spread them out in a circle, keeping them all touching. The first player selects a card and reacts based on the criteria listed below. The game continues clockwise around the table until all cards are gone.

2-10 Red: “Take”- The player has to drink the face value of the card.

2-10 Black: “Give”- The player can give the face value of the card away in drinks to one player or split the value between the players.

Jack: “Rhyme Time”- The player who draws this card can pick a word. Everyone goes around the table clockwise and has to rhythm with that word. Whoever can’t within 5 seconds has to drink.

Queen: “Question from the Queen”- The player who draws this card can hold onto it until someone else draws a Queen. The player who originally drew a queen may ask any question to any of the players (preferably in random conversation). If they answer the question, they must drink.

King: “Captain Jackass” – The player who draws a king is declared Captain Jackass. This player can tell anyone to drink as often as he or she pleases until someone else draws a king and assumes the role.

Ace: “Make a rule”- A player that draws this card can make a rule that the other players have to do upon signal for the remainder of the game. (ie: Thumb rule- the player puts his or her thumb on the edge of the table, the last player to put their thumb down has to drink.)

Connection

At least 3 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. The dealer should deal out all the cards evenly among all players. Player’s must keep their cards face down and not look at their cards or anyone else’s.

Select a player to go first. This player will turn their top card over. The next player then turns their top card over. If there is a connection follow the criteria below. If there is not a connection, the next player turns their card over to see if there is a connection with the previous player and so on. Game play continues until the cards are all turned over.

If there is a connection:

If the cards of any two players sitting next to each other (not across) are connected by suit or by number, then both player’s must drink the same amount as the number on their card. (ie: player 1 draws a 7 of hearts, then player 2 draws a 10 of hearts. Player 1 would drink 7 and player 2 would drink 10. The same would go if a connection is made with numbers.

If a connection is continually made (without any breaks) between players next to each other, then all player’s within that connection must drink. All cards are valued at face with Aces High.

 Crazy 8′s

At least 3 players and the provided deck of cards are needed to play this game. To set-up, take the four ‘8’ cards out of the deck and line them up (vertically) on the table. The dealer will then deal the remaining cards out to the players at the table. The object of this game is to lay down all of your cards. The player to accomplish this first wins the game.

To begin, select a player to go first. The player must lay down a card, building from the eights in either direction (matching the corresponding suits). Any card can be played but, if a player is unable to lay down a card that immediately follows one already on the table, they must drink the total number of cards that are missing in the gap. (For example, if a player had a 5 of clubs and layed it down next to an 8 of clubs, the player would drink 2.)

If the player is able to lay down a card that doesn’t skip any cards (ie: 7 of clubs on an 8 of clubs), the player can give out an amount of drinks equivalent to the face value of the card that was just laid down (in this example 7).

Dictator

To play this game the provided deck of cards will be needed along with at least 3 players. To begin, all players must draw a card. The player with the highest card (Aces High) is the dictator. The dictator must announce the laws (examples listed below).

The dictator would then deal out as many cards as desired to each player (no more than 10) including his or herself. For every card a player has that breaks a law announced by the dictator, they must drink. The dictator reviews his or her hand for any broken laws and givens them out to the other players at the table to drink.

After dealing, a new dictator is selected by all players drawing cards again and the person with the highest card becoming the dictator. Play then starts over.

Examples of laws:

No odd cards allowed (odd cards would be breaking the law and each would require a drink).

No red cards allowed (red cards would be breaking the law and each would require a drink).

Laws can be combined and amounts of drinks can be assigned to specific cards. (ie: all even cards must drink 2 and all Jacks must drink 5). Any person breaking any of the laws would have to drink accordingly. It is not recommended to play a high number of cards if laws will be combined.

Drown the clown

To play this game the provided deck of cards and at least 3 players are needed. To begin, each player is dealt one card face down. Each person playing is dealt one card face down. All players turn their card over at the same time. If any of the players have the same card then they must point at that other player that has the same card and yell “clown”. Whoever says clown first gets to make the other person drink for up to 10 seconds.

If a player points at another person that does not have a card that matches their own, this player has to drink for 10 seconds. Game play continues for as long as everyone wants to keep playing.

Drug Dealer

The provided deck of cards and at least 4 players are needed to play this game. To begin, take as many cards from the deck as there are players and be sure to include exactly one ace and one king in those cards. Mix the cards around in the center of the table until nobody can tell which the ace and the kind from the other cards.

Take those cards and deal them out to each player. The players cannot show their cards to each other. Each player should memorize their card. The player with the Ace is the “drug dealer” and the player with the King is the “cop”.

The “drug dealer” has to discretely wink at other players around the table. Each time another player notices the drug dealer wink at them, they have to say “the deal is done” and take a drink.

The cop has to find out who the drug dealer is. Each time “a deal is done” the cop must drink. Each time the cop guesses an incorrect person as the “drug dealer” the cop must drink for 5 seconds.

The players can bluff and pretend that they saw the dealer wink and say “the deal is done” even if they haven’t. This makes the cop’s job much more difficult and the game much more interesting.

When the cop “busts” the dealer, the dealer must drink for 10 seconds.

Enemies

To play this game the provided deck of cards and 4-6 players are needed. To begin, deal out all of the cards equally to all players. The player to the left of the dealer begins by laying down a card of their choice and assigning that number of drinks to any player at the table (Aces High). A player can split up the drinks and assign them to multiple players if they choose.

Play continues around the table in this manner. People will become enemies as they retaliate against other players who made them drink throughout the game.

F*** the Dealer

The provided deck of cards and at least two people are needed to play this game. To begin, a dealer has to be selected. The dealer must hold the cards while the player to the immediate right try’s to guess (the number) of the card on the top of the deck (ie: 10).

If the first guess is correct, the dealer must drink for 10 seconds.

If the first guess is wrong, the dealer will say either higher or lower to indicate if the top card is higher or lower than the players guess.

If the second guess is correct, the dealer has to drink for 5 seconds.

If the second guess is wrong, the player drinks for as many seconds as they were off from the actual number. (ie: if the player guesses 5 and the card was a 7 the player would drink for 2 seconds).

The dealer then puts the top card face up on the table so the players know which cards have been used.

Play continues around to each player, giving everyone 2 chances to guess the top card on the deck. After 3 people in a row are unable to guess the card by their second guess, the dealer passes the cards to the next person (clockwise).

Towards the end of the game, after most of the cards are laid down on the table, it becomes obvious which cards are left in the deck. This is when it is not fun to be the dealer. The game ends when all of the cards are laid down on the table.

Four Horsemen

The provided deck of cards and at least 3 players are needed to play this game. To begin, take out the kings and deal 7 cards to each player. Then place the deck in middle of table and set each king next to the deck on separate sides.

The player to the left of the dealer goes first. Each player has to play a card if they can. If a king is showing, the player can play the queen of that suit, or if a 4 is showing, they can play a 3 of the suit, and so on. When a player has the ability to play to play a card, they can pass out the number of drinks in that row. (Ie: If a player plays a 10, they pass out 4 drinks, (10, J, Q, K). When a player does not have a card in their hand to play, they must drink and draw a card from the deck in the center of the table.

The first player to use all of the cards in their hand is the winner. If several rounds of game play commence the winner of each round can make a rule.

Go Fish

To play this game, the provided deck of cards and at least 2 players are needed. The game is dealt and played like the original game. For those that need basic instructions see basic rules below. For players who know how to play Go Fish and only need to know how to add drinking to the game, see drinking rules.

Basic Rules:

To begin, deal 8 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards in the center of the table face down. The object of go fish is for a player to get rid of all of their cards before any other player.

For a player to lay down cards, they must either have a pair or all four of the same card (ie: two 5’s or four 5’s). If a player does not have any pairs or four of any of the same cards, they must ask the other players if they have any of the cards that they are looking for. For example, if a player has three 5’s they would ask the other players if they have any 5’s (in order to have four 5’s). If the other players do not have any 5’s then the player asking for the 5’s would have to “go fish” and draw a card from the center deck. If the player were to pull a five from the top of the center of the deck then that player would have “fished their wish” and could go again. If the other players did have a 5, they would surrender it to the player who asked for it.

If a player has a pair or four of the same card, they can lay them down facing up next to the deck in the center of the table. Game play continues until one of the players run out of cards.

Drinking Rules:

Anytime a player asks for a card from the other players and is told to “go fish” they mush drink once. If the player “fishes their wish” then all of the other players have to take a drink.

Anytime a player has to give a card to another player they must drink twice (three times for face cards and aces).

Every time a player lays down a pair or four of the same cards, the other players must drink twice.

Happy Hour

At least 2 people and the provided deck of cards will be needed to play this game. To begin, lay 12 cards out, face-down, in a circle (like the face of a watch). Deal four cards to each player. Each player must memorize their cards, and then place them down on the table face-down. The players cannot look at their cards for the rest of the game.

The card that represents ‘1 o’clock’ on the table is flipped over first. If a player has this card then they can give 1 drink to someone, if they have 2 of the card that is turned over, they can give out 2 drinks. (ie: if a 10 was flipped over and a player had a 10 they could give out 1 drink, if they had two 10′s they could give out 2 drinks).

A player that is given a drink by another player who claimed to have a card that has been flipped over can call B.S. If the person does not have the card then he or she must drink double the amount that was assigned to the other player. However, if player has the card that they said they did the person who called B.S. must drink double.

The game continues and the next card that represents 2 o’clock is flipped over. If a player has this card they can give out 2 drinks instead of one (2 o’clock is 2 drinks, 3 o’clock is 3 drinks, 4 o’clock is 4 drinks and so on). If at 12 o’clock a player has 2 of the cards that are flipped over, they can make someone drink 24 drinks and even more if they call B.S. and are wrong.

High Low

The provided deck of cards is needed to play this game. Any number of people can play but only two can participate at a time (one dealer and one player). To begin, the dealer will turn-over the top card of the deck. The player must guess whether the next card will be higher or lower than the card that was just turned over.

Each card should be turned up and placed in a used pile on the table. If the player guesses correct 5 times in a row, it will become their turn to deal the cards and the dealer becomes the next player with the used pile remaining.

If the player gets less than 5 correct answers in a row they must take as many drinks as the cards in the used pile add up to upon guessing a wrong answer.

Once a wrong answer is given, the used pile is cleared and the play starts over with a new dealer and a new player (if more than two people are playing). If a player guesses an exact match, they can give the amount of the card in drinks to other players (without placing it in the used pile). The object of the game is to get 5 in a row and pass to the next player.

Horse Races

The provided deck of cards and 2-4 players are needed to play this game. Take all Aces, Kings and Queens out of the deck (12 cards total) and place the deck on the side. Arrange the Kings and Queens so that they make a straight line. The horses are represented by the Aces, which are lined up in a row, beginning at the first card in the line of Kings and Queens. Players pick their horse by picking a suit.

Now that the game is set up, turn over the first card in the deck. If the suit is diamond then the diamond horse advances one card, and all others must drink. Once a horse moves past the last King or Queen (the eighth card) in line they win and get to give out an additional 8 drinks.

Indian Poker

(Simply wetting the back of the card will help stick it to a person’s forehead). Everybody should be able to see the other player’s cards but not their own.

The dealer should begin by betting (an optional amount of drinking seconds) that he or she has the highest card. Players who don’t think they can win should fold and take as many drinks that the current bet is at. If a player thinks they can beat the dealer’s card, the player can raise the dealer with another bet for an optional amount of drinking seconds. In the end, the loser must drink the total amount bet. This game can be played until everyone gets bored and is ready to play another game from Pre-GamePartypack.com!

The first player will draw the top card from the deck. If the card is a face card (Ace, Jack, Queen, King) the player must kiss a person of the opposite sex of their choice. If it is a number card the player must drink the value of the card. Play continues around the table with each player drawing a card until all of the cards are used.

Midget

The provided deck of cards and at least 2 players are needed to play this game. To begin, deal one card to everybody at the table (face down). Each player must flip their card over at the same time. The player with the lowest card must begin drinking while the rest of the group points at them and repeats: “Midget, midget, midget…!” until they finish their drink or the group stops shouting midget.

On the wagon

To play this game 3 to 9 people and the provided deck of cards will be needed. Each face card is assessed a number of drinks. Ace is 4, King is 3, Queen is 2, and Jack is 1. Everyone picks a number 2 through 10, and must remember their number.

To begin, the dealer starts by flipping over one card at a time, whenever a players number is flipped over for the first time they are “on the wagon”, and must drink every time a face card comes up while you’re in the car. The next time that players card comes up they are “off the wagon”.

It is important to pay attention because a player can be stuck “on the wagon” for the entire game if they aren’t paying attention when their number is called and they are allowed “off the wagon”.

Palm Tree

The provided deck of cards, 2 players, and a 12 oz. can is needed to play this game. To begin, spread the cards face down in a circle around the can. Both players draw a card from the table. Whoever has the lowest card must drink the difference. (ie: if one player has a 5 and the other has a 2, the player with the 2 would drink: 2,3,4,5). The player with the higher of the two cards places their card on top of the can with a minimum of two corners off the edge. Play continues until the cards run out. Any player that knocks the fan off the can has to shotgun their drink.

Screw your buddy

To play this game at least 3 people and the provided deck of cards will be needed. The object of the game is to not have the highest card (Aces High). To begin, the dealer gives out one card to each player. The player to the left of the dealer must decide whether to keep their card or switch with the player to the left of them. That player then decides if they want to switch and so on. The dealer has the option of keeping his or her card or taking a new card from the top of the deck. Whoever has the highest card drinks for a predetermined amount of time. The game continues with the dealer giving out one card to each player again and repeating the aforementioned steps. The game ends when all cards have been used.

Sh*t Faced

To play this game at least four people and the provided deck of cards are needed. To begin, place four drinks in the center of the table in a row. These four drinks represent each of the four face cards in the deck (Ace, King, Queen, Jack).

The first player is dealt a card face up; if they get a face card they have to drink a quarter of the drink that represents that card and then another card is dealt to them. If the player gets a card other than a face card, play continues to the next player and they are dealt a card. This process continues until all 16 face cards are gone.

Slap my deck up

The provided deck of cards and at least 3 people are needed to play this Irish Snap. To begin, equally deal out all of the cards to the players. Play starts with the person left of the dealer. The first player will put down the card at the top of their deck and as they turn it over they must say “two”. The next player will turn over their top card and say “Three”. Play continues around the table in this manner and starts back at “two” after “Ace” is said by a player.

If the value of the player’s card is the same value that they call out, every player must slap the pile in the middle of the table. The last player to slap the deck has to pick up the cards and drink.

When a player runs out of cards, they stay in the game. Players without cards will continue to call numbers when it is their turn but will not lay down any cards. The numbers begin to stack up when a player does not have any cards left. For example, when a player without cards calls “Seven” and the next player calls “Eight”, if the card that is laid down is either a 7 or 8 the pack is slapped.

If any players slap the deck when they shouldn’t, they must drink, and pick up the cards.

 Speed bump

To play this game the provided deck of cards, the provided shot glass, and 2 people are needed. This is a one player game. The second person deals eight cards face down in a row and places the shot glass in the middle (between the 4th and 5th cards). Fill the shot glass with the selected beverage. This represents the speed bump.

To begin, the player must flip over the cards starting on either end of the row. If the value of the card is from 2 to 10 then the player continues to flip over the next card. If the card is a Jack the player must drink 1 and the dealer places 1 card face down in that spot. If the card is a Queen then it is 2 drinks and 2 cards. 3 for Kings and 4 four Aces. The row can grow to over 8 cards if several face cards are turned over in a row.

Anytime the player goes over the speed bump they must drink the shot. This would include going backwards if the player draws a face card after crossing the speed bump and is forced to go back when more cards are laid down.

Suits

To play this game the provided deck of cards and at least 2 people are needed. To begin, the dealer calls a suit (hearts, diamonds, spades, or clubs) and starts dealing one card (face up) to each player until the suit that was called is laid down. The player that the suit lands in front of has to drink the face value of the card (Aces High).

After a player finishes drinking, they must call out a new suit before setting down their drink or they will have to drink the face value of the card again.

Suits Roulette

For this game, the provided deck of card, four glasses, and at least 2 people are needed. To begin, fill the glasses with two non-alcoholic drinks and two alcoholic drinks. (ie: 1 cup with beer, 1 with a mixed drink, 1 with water, 1 with soda). The deck of cards should be placed in the center of the table. Each player will draw a card, one at a time, from the top of the deck. The player must drink from the designated glass for the number of seconds on the card. To determine which glass to drink from us the following criteria:

- Spades = Soda
- Diamonds = Water
- Clubs= Mixed Drink
- Hearts= Beer

Trap

To play this game, the provided deck of cards and at least 4 players are needed. To begin, all cards must be dealt out equally to the players.

The player with the ace of spades begins by laying this card down. If the player to the left of this person does not have another ace to match this, that player drinks. That person is now trapped between the person on the left and right of them. These players try to lay down cards that they think the person in the middle does not have. For each card the trapped player does not have, they drink.

When the trapped player has a card that matches one that is laid down by the person on the left or right of them, they lay the card down and if the person next to them does not have the card they become trapped. Play continues this way until a player runs out of cards and wins. Once this happens the remaining players have to drink one for every card that is left in their hand.

Up the River, Down the River

To play this game the provided deck of cards and at least 2 players are needed. To begin, 4 cards must be dealt to each player face up. The dealer then takes one card from the remaining cards and says “take one”. Any player that has that card drinks once. If a player has two of that card they would drink double.

The dealer then flips the next card and says “take two”, just as before only its two drinks for each matching card that a player has. Next the dealer would flip a card and say “take three”, then ”take four”.

After the “take” round, play moves on to the “give” round. The dealer turns over a card and says “give one”, then “give two” and so on. The players are then able to give drinks for each matching card that they have.

War

To play this game the provided deck of cards and 2 players are needed. The game is played just as the classic card game War always is. All of the cards should be dealt out to the two players. To begin, each player lays down their top card on the table. The player with the highest card wins and takes the other person card while the loser drinks.

If there is a tie, three cards are laid down (face down) by each player and the fourth is turned over. Whichever player turns over a higher card in this scenario wins and collects the loser’s cards while the loser drinks an amount assigned by the winner (up to 10).

The game ends when one player has all of the cards and wins.
